ok i dont know what's going on cause i updated this about a week ago but it obviously didnt work!well a lot has happened since my last entry,i left hamilton on the 27th sept and flew to melbourne and had a few days there,i looked around the city and went up the rialto towers(highest office building in the southern hemisphere)i also went to ramsey street!sad but so worth it!i flew from there to adelaide and went on a tram to the beach,on a wine tour and walked around the city, i also went to port adealide home of this years AFL winners!from adealide i caught the indian pacific train to perth(longest stretch of straight track in the world)which took about a day and a half very strang landscape and weird little ghost towns along the way.went to the pinnacles last weekend and they were amazing and a little funny!my rude mind kept seeing giant willies LOL!this weekend im going to rottnest island for a day and night which will be cool and the following saturday if all goes to plan ill be jumping out of a plane!!and then the next day getting into one to come home.see you all soon me darlins

hello
not too much going on here the last few weeks have been good fun hanging out with treasa and kat a friend of ours who's a chef and is from melbourne.we've been sunning ourselves on the beach and we went out on a sailing boat racing with kat's boss on wed it was awesome!!we won as well though not because of anything us girls did we just sat there and watched the world go by.went to one of the guys i work with's birthday a few weeks ago and got to drive one of my bosses's golf buggy home,was so much fun!!!he was shitting himself but i enjoyed it!!so less than two weeks left here and then off to melbourne,adelaide and then back to perth,not darwin...long story.well not much else to say ill write again soon when i start travelling.i hope you're all well and ill see you all soon.

hi there
sorry it's been a while,all is good here still working away on hamo. just got back from whitehaven beach which was gorgeous!!it's got really fine white sand and you can clean your jewlerry with it and it makes it all shiny and new!!so ill be here for another few weeks then it's off to melbourne,tasy(hopefully)and adelaide then back up to darwin for a few days to say my final farewells to andrew : ( and then ill be back home around the 25th of october.it was race week this week just gone by so the island was hectic and the harbour was packed with gorgeous sailing boats.seamingly the priminster was here the whole week as well!!he's good at hiding!!Cookie thank you so much for your email it was lovely to here that you're doing well and your road trip sounds like it'll be a real adventure take plenty of pictures especially of you under sign posts!!so you remember where you've been!!if anyone is interested in seeing some photos of me and my friend Kat today on whitehaven go to www.hamiltonisland.com.au and go to the 30th of august and you'll see us!!

hello all
im on hamilton island in the whitsundays now!!left sydney about 3 weeks ago and flew here to see treasa and get work.im working in the only grocery store on the island!!so i'm kept busy!enjoying the nice weather,the amazing scenery and the great friends that im making.i hope you're all well and would love to hear any news from you all.does anyone read this LOL!!i dont know!ah well : ) keep safe

im in sydney now arrived yesterday morning and it's miserable weather,just like ireland!!i saw the harbour today and it was nice the bridge and opera house are pretty cool.dont think ill be staying here much longer as its just a big city that i feel lost in and im on my own as treasa is in airlie beach.not sure where ill go but we'll see soon enough what happens!!hope you're all well and still enjoying your summer holidays.

handed in my notice today so ill be finishing work next wed then ill have a week and then im off to sydney to meet up with treasa(i think)cant beleive it's been over three months here,i wish i could stay longer but i want to finish seeing the rest of australia.finally did aqua scene!its a place in darwin city called doctor's gully and the fish come in at high tide everyday to be fed (some hand fed) bread!it was cool there were massive milk fish,some cat fish and sting rays and others i cant remember the name of!!andrew and i are going to rent mopeds at the weekend and cruise around darwin!!should be a laugh!really going to miss darwin and andrew it's really started to feel like home and everyone is so friendly.im going to try and do wwoofing when i leave hopefuly in tasmania,it's where you become a member and go to a farm and work for 5 to 6 hours a day for you board and keep so hopefully that will work out,well hope you are all well if you're reading this,

sorry it's been so long since i wrote, april 18th!!that's bad!i've been working in the real estate agents and it's all going well.done a bit of this and that but generally just relaxing and hanging out.jordon one of the guys i live with is moving out soon so it'll just be me and andrew in our little love nest!!kidding kidding!! :) so i booked a flight to sydney on the 8th july so ill be back on the road and meeting up with treasa agian which will be cool,but it means leaving darwin and andrew which will be sad :( but that's the nature of travelling.hope you're all well.

hello,hope you all had a good easter.mine was different,went camping on the thursday night under a stary sky and went swimming the next day at florence falls in litchfield park which was cool.work is going alright pretty boring but it's money in the bank!talked to treasa today and made me miss her even more,it's been exactly a month since i left brisbane!it's gone so quickly!still hot as ever here but it's dry which is a bonus.the boys just got back from an outdoor persuit thing,they were on jordan's work team and they look wrecked!i was on my own this weekend which kinda sucked,but hey!what can you do?!not much else to report,hope you're all well.

hi everybody
im still alive and having a great time in darwin though i miss having treasa around!!im staying with two guys that we met the first time we were here,andrew and jordon and i got a job in an estate agents on thurs so im very happy cause i needed it badly!!im not selling houses(that would be cool!!)im just working the switch board but it's all good!im happy anyway and the dry season is coming soon so that's a releif cause it's dang hot up here and humid!paddy's day was cool we had a bbq in the hostel in brisbane and then went to an irish pub and got rather drunk as is the tradition(we couldn't let the nation down : ) )so ive done a few things since coming back to darwin,went to litchfield national park and went swimming which was gorgeos,went to street drag racing which was crazy!!lots of boy racers showing of and doing burn outs!and i went to one of andrew's friend houses outside darwin and raced in his go karts on a dirt track that was awesome!!!did loads of cool skids and stuff!!well that's all for now

hey folks
not much happening at this end of the world just chillin at the moment because treasa got a job as receptionist in the hostel we're staying at so i've decided to go back to darwin and stay with a few friends that we made there and get a job,really looking forward to that!!i leave the day after paddy's so that'll be a bitch of a flight!there is a parade on tomorrow in the city so we'll be heading to that,it'll be interesting to see what the ozzys will do,

hi
just arrived in brisbane a few hours ago after spending a few days travelling from cairns.stopped along the way a few times.stopped at hervey bay and went out to fraser island which was beautiful,we swam in a fresh water lake that was so clear!!and went through some rain forest which was amazing.so we're going to stay in brisbane for a few months and work then it's on down the coast to sydney ect.

hello in cairns now just speant a day at the great barrier reef which i have to say was one of the most amazing things ive ever done!we snorkled around two different parts of the reef and saw loads of different fish and a turtle!!very sun burnt now but very happy!darwin was very nice a bit wet the first few days but picked up at the end,there's no work to be had here in cairns so we're heading down the coast to see if we can get some work further south.hope all are well im sure ive forgotton to mention loads but have no time as it's sooo expensive to go on the internet!!bye

hello,we saw uluru (ayers rock) and the olgas on wed which was amazing and had a bbq and champagne as we watched the sun set over uluru.just arrived in darwin after a three day tour,it was fantastic we went from alice springs and stopped along the way at the devil's marbles,did a tour of a mine,had a pint at daly waters the oldest and most remote pub in australia,we went to a national park and had a walk and a swim in a plunge pool(so refreshing!!).we had a thunder storm last night which was great fun especially seeing rain again after three months!we ran from the toilet block to our tent(only about 10 metres)and were absolutely soaked through that's how heavy it gets!!stayin in darwin for a few days then flying to cairns and we'll be working there for a while.too much to remember!!write soon,clare xoxo

hello everyone we're in alice now,just arrived yesterday!and it's soooo small and sleepy!there's a river that's not even a river!!it's called the todd river but there is never any water in it!!we head to uluru and the olgas tomorrow(we flew over them on the way!!amazing!) leaving alice at 6am and getting back at 1am!!then a few hours sleep and we hit the road to darwin for a three and half day journey stopping at sights along the way!!it's not too hot here which we're very greatful for as we were expecting over 40 but the temp has dropped about 12 degrees in the last few days!it was so hard leaving perth and all the friends we have made but we'll be back there in sept/oct so ill pick up where i left off with all the lads!!so now the journey really begins for us and i cant beleive it's really happening,perth felt like a home from home so now i really feel like i've left home!!i hope you're all well and college and work is going well.miss you all,love clare xoxo

it was australia day on monday!what fun we had!went to the beach in the morning and had pancakes for breakfast yum!then some champagne!yum yum!and headed into the city for a massive firework display we had to squeez onto the train and listen to a lot of drunken australian boys sing ozzy ozzy ozzy!!walked to the south fore shore which was worth the trek because you can see all of the skyline of perth and when the fireworks went off the colours were reflecting in the buildings.we got home eventually(the train station was madness!)around 11 then headed to a mates house and stayed up chattin till all hours!only 4 days in perth left aaaaaahhhhhh!so much to do so little time we'll hopefully be going out tonight to a club called the craic!!cant get from irish!!and we're going to some fancy restaurant with aideen and aaron on sat night then come mon afternoon its so long perth hello alice!heard it's snowing in ireland!really hard to get your head around that when it's 32 here.wrap up warm and ill try and send you some sun,c oxoxo

wow!sorry for delay in updating!margaret river was fantastic!we went there last weekend for friday,saturday and sunday.we went to a winery,brewery,chocalate factory and fudge factory!so we came back fatter than ever!we also went to an amazing cave which meant walking down 300 hundred steps to get to it!we went to a 60 meter tree on our way back called the gloucester tree which basically has metal rungs sticking out of it that you have to climb up!scary shit!i was absolutely brickin it!!but the view was amazing when i opened my eyes long enough!!we're heading to the beach today to get out of the house cause aideen is being really mean to us she thinks we've acted like her house is a hotel(we pay rent and do chores!!) and not as she would act in someone elses house!anyway it's just made us really want to start travelling now but treasa is working so we're staying until the 2 feb then it's so long to perth!

hi,new years was cool!we headed to scarborough and went to a couple of clubs and then went outside to a big clock and did the whole count down thing,we headed back to the green wood and met up with a few people and went to a house party after that got home at around five in the morning!we've been busy the last few days we went to the zoo on saturday which was excellent and yesterday we went to the aquarium which was also very cool!saw some nemos!!we were just at the museum in perth city which is very interesting but we gotta head home and pay some delivery guy for aideen so we'll have to come back again and have a proper look around. see ya.

hello to all and i hope you had a very merry christmas and you have a kick ass new year!!we had a cool christmas....well actually it was rather hot(sorry!.We went to the fire station where aideen's brother works and had a tour and got to sit in a fire truck!!we then headed to the beach and went for ice cream.on stephen's day we had our proper christmas dinner and opened our presents i got a really cool paul frank y-fronts and vest P.J.s!!and a really cool bag from treasa!we've just been chillin out the last few days, saw love actually which i really liked and we're going to go out tomorrow night (obviously!!) for new years and get rat arsed!!we'll be by the sea so we should get some fire works as well!yippee!bright lights!bright lights!going to margaret river on the weekend of the 10 jan for my birthday treat from aideen!she's sooooo generous!!please keep the emails coming, love to hear from you all even if it's only a short one.

hello all,apologies to all my mates for the previous message just got a bit pissed off cuase people i dont know were reading my journal (friends of treasa's ex. boyfriend)any way having a good laugh going out tomorrow for the big 2 2!!!i'm soooo old!!ah well i'll just drown my sorrows ;) still no work but hey im copeing alright.got all my xmas shopping done cant beleive there's only a week left!aideen is minding a mates house over the holidays and he has a pool so if the temp gets to what they predict(42degrees!!)then that's where we'll be!cause she's working and one of her brothers is going to his wifes family and the other is at the fire station(he's a fire man)we'll be celebrating xmas on st stephen's day!but we'll get to go to the fire station (i'm going down that pole if it kills me!!!) on xmas day which'll be fun,bye for now have a great christmas and new year,bye clare xox

howdy all,sorry for the delay in updating.still no work for me, though i was at a bar a few nights ago and the owners daughter said there might be a chance of a job cause i'm irish and so is her dad!so ill have to look into that.we went there with our new mates glenn,ozzy and scott and their footie team!!we're really fitting into australian life.we went onto a club where a scary guy that treasa kissed started asking her to go home with him!!she ran away to find me,mean while i'm freaking out cause i cant find her!man! the relief when we found each other!will be going out next week for my 22nd!that'll be a good night i reckon.saw school of rock the other day not great,though jack black has his moments.well that's all for now,bye c oxoxo
